A network base unit has many different functions and can be changed between these for different games. They are low cost meaning one arena can have many units giving huge possibilities for game configurations.
Configured as a target, base or trap, players can score points or achievements by tagging these. They may be available to everyone or just to a certain team. When used as flags players can play games like Capture the Flag
When used as a recharge point players can return to these during a game to top up on shields, lives, shots or whatever is configured for that game.
A power-up point gives players a power-up as configured for that games settings. These can range from different phaser types with real different shot types, to features such as bypassing players shields or invulnerability.
Every Network Base Unit can control external devices such as disco lights and smoke machines. With DMX functionality and control over external power sources, entire arenas can be controlled during games.
